Life at MSM

The college is great. The campus is beautiful with an abundance of greenery, has two lawns for the students to sit at. The faculty are amazing and very helpful. They’re always ready to help even after classes. A lot of extracurricular activities are encouraged here which makes it a lot easier and fun for us to learn more skills with activities like simulation games. Studying here has been a wonderful experience so far.

I chose this course so it will potentially help me as an entrepreneur. I plan to do my specialisation in marketing and business analytics. After doing my previous Masters in Advertising and Design from University of Leeds, England, I’m sure my specialization will help me to further my plans as an entrepreneur. The faculty at MSM have been helping me not only with course subjects but also in laying out my potential business plan. All the professors are very hands-on and the seniors are very resourceful too. As per MSM’s guidelines, internships are mandatory which I think prepares all of us for the industry. As the industry changes, the course at MSM does too. Classroom education isn’t only restricted to books, we have real-time case studies, seminars, workshops, and committees at MSM to help us advance our knowledge and information to be at par with industry’s requirements.

We have paid internships, summer internships that are mandatory. Opportunities for winter internships and live projects are also given.

Placements are great in companies like Google, Bose, Van Huesen, Alibaba, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Indian Bank, HDFC Bank. All of the seniors got placed. My batch will get eligible for the placement from the 5th trimester.

Free in comparison to other colleges is very less. MSM is very affordable especially for what the institute offers. There are also scholarships available for students. These scholarships are also based on merit of previous qualifications.

We have a fully quipped library, social clubs, fully equipped gym, canteen, a mess, sports are encouraged a lot here. We have monthly sports events, a lot of extra curricular activities take place throughout the year.

We have separate hostels for girls and boys that are at the campus so it’s convenient for us to reach the academic block. We have options for rooms with either one or two more roommates. The mess is great. The rooms are neat and functional.

The process was CAT/MAT/ATMA scores then GD round then PI round, case analysis, and written analysis test. The interview questions were very much related to the current scenario of the industry.
