Gayathri Moturu's Review On Dadi Institute Of Engineering And Technology (Autonomous) - [DIET], Visakhapatnam

Dadi institute of engineering and technology is good according to me out college provides all facilities like bus facility, canteen facility, departmental stores, xerox & printer facilities etc. But in our college there is sufficient place for labs and class rooms.

I took EAMCET exam as my entrance exam i got above one lakh in that entrance eamcet exam. I like mathematics more than the other subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, civics, economics, accounts, English, Sanskrit so I joined in intermediate ( M.P.C ) in Sri surya junior college at gajuwaka so I wrote EAMCET as my entrance exam.

I got seat in dadi institute of engineering and technology at Anakapalli,Visakhapatnam. I took computer science branch i like little bit of programming but I am fear about programming. Course is somewhat tough and difficult and different also.

I don't have so much experience on internship because still I am in 3rd year companies will come in during the 4th year. Maxmimun most of the top companies are came as per previous years. High package companies also provided to our college so many members are placed in MNC companies also.

Placements is somewhat less than other colleges companies like TCS etc., last year approximately above 50% students are placed in computer science. In other branches approximately above 60% are placed. Students are very happy to come out side of the college.Because they provide good knowledge.

Last year college conducts festival named yuva tarang in that festival we conducted lot of technical and cultural activities like paper presentation, essay writing competition, rangoli competition, flash mob, dance programs and so many games. Other colleges are also visited our college and participated actively in that even.

Scholarships are provided for minority groups I.e., for BC, SC, SE. They got 2,500 per yearly. Fees reimbursement is also provided to those categories. Fees reimbursement is also provided to whose annual income is below 1 lakh for all categories. Education loans also provided for those who are necessity.

Gender ratio in computer science and information technology: boys-40% and girls-60%. In other branches boys were 70% and girls were 30%. Campus life is enjoying and interesting. Dadi college is good in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, labs,sports,competitions,robotics, debates etc.

I am not a hostel i am a day scholar but I heard that college hostel is good in hostel there are 4 members per room. Beds are provided separately for each student for morning they provide breakfast and milk, for afternoon they provide lunch, for evening they provide snacks and milk again in night they provide dinner. Hostel food is good.Hostel fees is 10000 per head.

Seniors to alumni network i have good experience in that alumni network our seniors gave a valuable information to us and which companies were coming, how the procedure was and so many things. We interacted with seniors and asked so many doubts about placements.

Faculty is very friendly in my college they clear all doughts if students are ask them.
