College management is improving day by day. Hope Patna Science College will again achieve its glorifying history.

Annual Exams are conducting for next year admissions. Exams have two honors papers for first two years, four Honours Papers in final year and single paper for subsidiary subjects. In recent years, College administration is focusing on R&D work but still the college is only just have coursework oriented environment. Coursework is basically theroretical reserach oriented and it is very hard to extract industry specific materials from the course and but in some vocational courses like BCA, ES Industry based education is providing and it does not have helped too much in campus placement. Yes there are some industrial visits are placing for the students by the department.

There is no placement cell yet (March.2020). College does not have any periodical outreach programs like Internship or workshop etc.

List of Technical Events : 1) The Physicist : This technical event is organized by Department of physics on annual basis. The programs consists Quiz, Modelling, Lectures, debates and many more new tasks in physics. This is intra college program and around 500 students are registered for Participation. 2) National Mathematics Day : This program is annually organized by Post Graduate Department of Mathematics on occasion of Birth Anniversary of the great Indian mathematican Sri Ramanujan. The program is inter college and around 200 students of different steam will get into participation. There are no management activities are organizing in the college because the college does not have any course in commerce field. Cultural activities are organizing at every National or Domicile Holidays. Like Republic Day Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Bihar Diwas etc.

B.sc Honours annual Fee nearly 4000( Four thousand only ) RS for traditional courses Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology Honours paid by online channels like netbanking. Vocational courses are obviously much expensive then Basic Science Course. In Bachelor's of Computer Application BCA and Environmental Science have 22,000 RS per year. No additional fee is required for securing a seat after admission is confirmed. Some others fees like for ID card and University Registration fee ( 100 RS ) will be demaned by the administration. College shows transparency in admission payments. Students will get a hardcopy of Payment receipt of successful online payment from the administrative block.

Bihar Student credit Card and Some state and National Scholarships like INSPIRE are generally opted by Students and can be availed by simply filling their forms which are verified by the college administration.

Campus life at Science College is so amazing and adventurous. I have learned so many things of academics and social life. The college has mould my character and skills very beautifully. The gender ratio is satisfactory at Science College 20:1 boys : girls ratios.There are socities Like the Physics Society and Mathematical Society which are organizing a large number of Workshops, Conference and Refresh courses in recent years. Cultural society also organizing national level works in Arts and humanities. Extracurricular activities are continuously organizing in the college. The science lab for Natural Sciences like physics, chemistry and life sciences posess highly advanced equipments and Lab materials. Sports competition are annually organizing in month of January and lasting for 15 days. Science Model competition in area of AI, Robotics are annaully organizing at all Hostels and college campus on occasion of Sarswati Pooja. At science college, Students comes across the nation and they are welcome and never discriminated on the name of caste, colour or Creed. There is Anti Ragging cell which constitutes Zero tolerance Policy in case of any form of ragging. Almost Students are here from middle class family and economically backward but are never abused by any administrative teaching or non teaching staff.

Yes, five boys hostels, two of them is on share-basis with about 350 seats capacity and alloted on the basis of Marks awarded at College annual Exams. Description of the Hostels ( rank wise ) : 1) Farday House : This is the most popular hostel among all hostels. There are only 30 seats for Senior Students of Second and third year who performs top scores at their corresponding course. 40 Share basis seats for First year juniors and Students from vocational course. It has its own mesh. But Farday house has the weakest infrastructure, its buildings are 70 years old and the hostel instantly requires a rennovation. 2) Cavendish House : 90 seats, 44 for first year students only from traditional course and 28 seats for Second year student and rest are for final year students. It does not have any mesh, Students have to go outside hotels for their food. It has better infrastructure buildings and bathrooms are in good condition. 3) Newton House : 60 seats, only 2 single room for final year Student of Chemistry and Statistics and rest are for first and second year students on sharing basis. The hostel has its own mesh and have the best food quality compare to other hostels. It also has rooms, bathroom and garden in good condition. 4)CVR Hostel : 60 Seats, 4 seats for first year, 30 seats for Second year and rest are for final year students, all seats are on sharing basis. The hostel has its own mesh. Buildings and bathrooms are in better condition. The CVR has the most pleasant natural scenery. 5)Ramanujan Hostel : 40 seats all are on sharing basis. The hostel does not have a mesh and weak infrastructure. There is only one girl hostel named Ganga Hostel for girls with capacity of only 30 seats.

College always gets better Students of discipline and knowledge. Seniors and alumunus are highly cooperative and friendly. They are very helpful in getting new informations about academia and college events.

I want a Research oriented Carrier in Mathematics and Department of Mathematics of Patna Science College is the right place for my purpose and the following qualities of the Patna Science College made me attract to get into admission 1) Highly Experienced Faculties 2)Strong Alumunus link 3) Well spread academic coordinates of the administration 4)the curriculum is reserach oriented. I write up for an entrance test to UG Mathematics course which is annually conducted during June and result will be published within one month. Merit list will be announced in July and new session will generally starts in August.

Few permanent professors nearly 2-3 is working in Department with better experience of quality education. Almost are young and there minimum educational qualifications is Ph.D and CSIR NET. They are masters in their course. Lectures are just for passing the exams.
