SRMCEM takes Quizzes every Saturday & Monday, whose marks added in internals, and also by taking quizzes, student's pressure gets reduced at the time of Main Semesters. 3-4 Surprise quizzes for each subject also held in a week. And weekly assignments assigned for particular subjects whose marks also added in internals. Exam pattern is Semester based, in 1 year there are 2 Semesters. Marks are decided on the basis of internal and external exams. Internal exams are done by the particular college ( SRMCEM) and external done by University(AKTU) affiliated with College (SRMCEM). By combining these marks final marks declared. SRMCEM's placements record is 95% many reputed companies take part in placements. There is a maximum of 2-3 Industrial visits done in a year.

SRMCEM provides Softskill development classes, Aptitude classes for Qualifying written exams of Placement drives, They provide proper Seminars before a day or week of a particular drive of company to make students understand and get the procedure for placement. They provide various workshops on various technologies like Embedded systems, PLC-SCADA, MATLAB, VLSI, etc. I also have certification in PLC-SCADA, MATLAB, and workshops in Embedded systems.

Gantavya - Technical fest which held in the month of November. Abhivyakti- Cultural fest which is held in the month of February. The entire college takes part in this fest. There are more fests like Spardha- sports fest in which lots of sports played like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc.

4-5 lakh is the amount taken by SRMCEM for B.tech, might be amount is quite expensive but SRMCEM provides quality. They accept cash and cheque. No, there are no additional charges only a one-time charge is taken by AKTU to secure a seat at the time of locking of the seat. Yes, our college provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

Uttar Pradesh government provide scholarships for students of UP only. I got a 56000 scholarship every year as I belong to the GEN category.

I had given UPSEE (UPTU) entrance exam now its name changed to AKTU. After the declaration of results I opt for SRMCEM as my priority during counseling because of its excellence & discipline, their study patterns are very different from other Technical and management colleges. I Opted for Electrical engineering because of my passion for the core technical field. The procedure of taking admission- Filling UPSEE forms which come in the month of Jan to March. -Exams held in the months of April & May. -results declare in the month of June. After that counseling session has started where you enroll your details by going to listed colleges for counseling phase-1. - After that after some week choice locking of colleges has started according to the ranks of students, which is done by students.

There are 50 to 60 lectures for each subject assigned, which is taken by highly qualified lecturers,15-20 lecturers are there in Electrical department whose ages are between 30 to 50. Everyone has an M.tech degree from IIT and MNIT. They all have excellent knowledge, they opt for various smarter ways to make us understand.
