Professionalism at Par

No hostel facility at Noida campus, lack of scholarship facility for bright and needy students. Also the transportation facility was missing.

The course curriculum was well defined in a pre planned schedule, given to us at the time of admission. Exams were also systematic as per semester end. Each subject was well driven and directly related with the management studies with one subject of IT in each semester. Training and presentations were helped much in making us a good professional.

From the starting of 8th semester, placements were started and we have faced group discussions and interviews, Mostly marketing companies were first in the schedule, banks, insurance, IT sectors were also a part of the placement. I have done training in Indorama synthetics after 7th semester.

Intra college fests were a part of our curriculum, in the end of each year. Freshers part, fairwell to seniors. Inter college fests were great, I also took part in one of them held at Amity university, it was great experience. There was fashion shows, dancing, singing, great fun.

At that time, I paid INR 18500 per semester for six semesters, it was very nominal. I paid through DD in the name of our college. There was a transparent policy and a break of this cost was well defined to us. There wasn't any additional fee other than this, only the admission fee was extra in the 1st semester which was inr 5000 only.

No, I didn't opted for scholarship or not availed any loan facility. There was no such criteria in the college.

It was a coed college and center ratio was almost 60-40 and campus life was so cool and professionalism was in the air. Competition between different batches in a course was regularly conducted to promote and encourage the students. Debates were held in classes to grow the intellectual level of the students. On the spot topics were given to the students to speak.

Meara, Ranchi was the main campus, I have studied in extension center Noida, there was no hostel facility, so I took a private PG nearby our college. It was just a walking distance of 5-7 minutes from PG to college.

Not much, alumni network was not so great and I didn't experience any type of help in this case. Senior students were helpful. We have arranged all the things by coordinating with each other in our batches.

I saw the admission notification in newspaper and applied for it in April 2004, and selected for the interview for passing their merit list on the basis of my 12th marks. Also cleared the interview and got final admission. Whole batch was selected on the basis of merit list and interview.

Excellent in one word. Each faculty was well educated and having expertise in their field of study. Giving examples to enhance our knowledge, debates were also a part during the classes and the systematic way of making us grow in a professional, successful in our career.
