Remarks

College is good but it needs improvement in its all aspects of management. It may be it's academic and co academic and placement areas. Infrastructure should be renewed but it is worst according to the standard of this decade.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is easy and tough. Course curriculum includes Pharmacy English Live stock Management Poultry Management Anatomy of domestic animals Physiology of domestic animals Animal Nutrition Elementary Medicine Extension Education Surgery Artificial Insemination Reproductive Disorders Live Stock Production Technology Clinical and Farm Practice It's is some what relevant, fair and research driven. It's gives all around knowledge about the domestic animals and their ailments.

Placement Experience

0.5

Our college don't provide any type of internship for VLDD. In degree course internship is given in clinic of university and nearby areas. All students generally take internship after qualifying the last exams. I think Institute don't take special steps to prepare the students for placement season.

College Events

2

Generally in our college a few technical, cultural, management festivals are held. A small competition like speech extempore, writing, poster making etc are held at class level and 2 or 3 students participate and eventually you can guess the ranks.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a little bit feasible. In first year it charged 32000 and in second year it is 11570. It's generally higher than other govt college in this field. No online procedure is followed to pay fees. It is still manual. No additional charges are taken after submission of annual fee once in a year. If someone is fined then he or she have to give fine. There is no provision regarding concession or breakdown in the fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers scholarship for first 18 students according to the rank. It's is 800 per month and given for 10 months. Other than it Govt of haryana gives scholarship to SC BC students. College collects bank details and consent of students to take college scholarship and rejection of other scholarships. Avg scholarship provided in two installment. It is 4500 and 3500.

Campus Life

2

Campus life. It's is extraordinary than other college. Coz it has vast area. Gender ratio of male and female is very less. Female are very less in college in comparison of males. College have Buffalo cattle sheep, goat and poultry farm. College have a sports area common for whole university. Labs are there to detect and research on the disease and animal welfare. A little competition are held in university. Worst thing in college is that there is no cab to go to departments coz it has so vast area.

Hostel Facilities

2

No I have not opted for the hostel bcoz I live near to university so I can come daily by buses. College has one hostel which have about 70-80 rooms where students live in 4 sharing. Hostel in my knowledge charges 7000 for its rent and mess is separate for bills. Out side of hostel pg charges 4500+ inr per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Generally there is lack of alumni network for vldd and senior students. Some senior were overacting that they were superior than us. And some are helpful like classmates but those also don't have so much knowledge to donate.

Admission

I got admission in LUVAS by entrance exam. I opted this course to become a doctor. It was not confirmed in which field I will be a doctor. But luckily I choosed admission for animal welfare. It is a profession where person treats a animal which can't tell where it is paining or aches. 1. Filled form 2. Admit card release 3. Exam 4. Result 5. Counseling 6. Document verification 7. Fee submission 8. Medical verification 9. Classes

Faculty

3

Generally course is eligible for students who are quite interested in science and it's amazing application. Students of age 16 minimum are eligible for this course. Due to increase in no of college a lot of students are given admission in college. So to increase students in private affiliate college eligibility to take part in course is changed from medical to all streams and it's difficult to have job. Except LPT and farm/clinic practice all subject have 1-3 theory lecture of one hour and one practical lecture of 2hours. Generally lectures have basic ideas to be applied in field. But most regret thing is students don't get so perfect and skilled knowledge of practical field with no industry experience or certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The one who has medical stream in his 12th grade and also an animal lover can go with this course. If you want you can also go for 5 year veterinary program in the same university but if you are not willing to give that much time and also want to make career as a vet you should go for 2 year VLDD course. This course provide you with the basic knowledge in veterinary field. You will get knowledge in veterinary medicine, surgery, aminal breeding etc. . Exams :- This is an annual course that means exams held once in an year not in the 6 months or 2 time in a year. The dificulty level of the papers is moderate as they are subjective type. I will say that just study 3-4 hours everyday after college and you will easily passed the exam.
