Remarks

I had spent 4 valuable years in my college where I got precious friends, good faculty, helpful senior and lots of fun we all crave from our college life. Success or failure is a part of life and I also truly believe that there is a very effective role of your college in your success. But for me I will not judge it by sucess or failure I always judge my college for that precious 4 years of my life. For me my college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course offered was good but the availability of books was not appropriate. Many of the books was not available in college library which we have to bought personally. Also curriculum of main stream courses was much more valuable there as the faculty level of their stream was much more experienced than ours. No one can know about the exam pattern and at every exam there was a new surprise waiting for their beloved students. Pattern was setup by UPTU University itself in which this institution falls. I must say that it makes me read books by myself that's it. We were arranged with an industrial visit in 2nd year of our college it was a good experience we got to know many things practically there but I must suggest every college to please arrange the visit in last year of college as it will give you proper glance of whatever you have read in theory.

Placement Experience

0.5

This is the worst part of our college coming to my stream. Talking about placement for chemical engineering stream is not necessary as no company arrives for placement of my stream. We got opportunity in technical support job I got placed too but it was BPO job. Placement was only to mark their percentage high in hoarding. Placement was decent for CS, ECE, IT.

College Events

4

Coming to events yeah Events was good in my college every buliding means every stream have their own group of events celebratred in their respective stream also their was societies for college level events too. Events such as Extempore, Technical quiz, Open Debate, Rangoli Competition, Dumb Charades, TV Quiz, GK Quiz, GA Quiz, Singing competition, Dance Competition and many more. I enjoyed and participated a lot in these events. UTKARSH was the annual function celebrated their having high class stage performance. Music band, classical dance, western dance, acts and many more. Their was also a sports meet celebration in which students participate in various sports event including Cricket.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is moderate. It is feasible. No additional charges are there except the security amount which was submitted at the time of admission and is fully refundable. Modes of payment was DD in the name of college. And there was full transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I applied for all 3 years for fee relaxing scholarship but didn't get any of the years as there was no transparency in the system. Some says that the scholarship always come but college higher authorities didn't let it distributed, some says it is not being transferred to college or students bank account from government officials. God knows. But I didn't got a single rupee of scholarship in any of the year

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio was different with different streams as CS, ECE, IT got higher number of girl students whereas CE, ME, CHE got higher number of boy students. But EE got equal numbers on both sides. Workshop is arranged for evey branch their I will say it proudly that workshop was one of the bestest part of our curriculum. There was no race of religion partiality in my college. Also no influence of any political party was there.

Hostel Facilities

1

No I didn't opted for college hostel despite of that I resided in a PG nearby college. PG was good in terms of facilities and services except the food and that is very common issue of all PG or hostel. I used to pay 45000 rs annually for 3 bed sharing room in that PG, which was quite higher than of college hostel. But the facility in terms of cleaning and room quality was very good comparing to the college hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior were quite helpful always shows us the right path as they had been through all that mess. So they always speaks the truth and the ground reality of what is going to happen. I personally had a great bonding with many of my senior and they guided me very well about placement and job connections.

Admission

I had chosen MIT Moradabad because of availability of chemical engineering stream in this college. I had come here for counselling through my state level entrance exam score then having options of two college 1 of KN Modi and other of MIT Moradabad. It was decent experience taking admission in this college as many of my school friends also joined me in various streams.

Faculty

3

Talking about faculty we were having the best faculty of chemical engineering in terms of education and teaching experience but they all left the college in mid of the 3rd semester itself. Then we got freshers faculty having teaching experience of hardly 1 years. They were there just to translate the books for us as they were also not having much experience in teaching. They were cooperative in nature and were very good in other curriculum activities. We all enjoyed a lot under them but when it comes to knowledge of books we were unlucky their. Having a strict teacher of good knowledge is better to have freshers to lead you. Although the minimum education to be faculty in our college was Post graduation. And we were having Mtech and PHD holders in our faculty team.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester. But proper company placements and official paid internships start in 7th semster. However it is highly dependant on your luck to get placed in earlier semesters. Highest package till now is 21 LPA but the actual average is around 4 LPA only. Profiles offered are software engineer and related only. Till now (after 7th semster of our seniors is over) around 50 students are placed. My plans are to do a job and simultaneously do MBA after co no completing a degree.
