Remarks

There's a lot of good things in the college like the infrastructure, the atmosphere etc but the teaching faculty can be improved a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good. The subject and the topics are quote relevant and easy to learn. Most of the subjects are directly or indirectly associated with the current industry. These subjects were the core subjects for my field and learning them made my foundation much stronger and better.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of the college is quite good. Though for Bachelors the placement is kind of ok but for Masters it is very good. Companies visiting the college are: Cognizant, Deloitte, Atos Syntel, Wipro, TCS etc. The tentative percentage of students placed every year is close to 70%. No, the institution doesn't takes any special steps to prepare for the placement season.

College Events

4

The events celebrated are Tech and Talent, NOWROS, Phoenix, Infinity etc. The events are quite big with mass gathering. The participation is also quite large. Students form other colleges too participate in the events. Students get opportunities to showcase their talents infront of the whole college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fee is better than other college which offering the same course. For every three, they will will increase fee by 20%.For our batch it is 50000/-.I love the college because they give their best with feasible fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does provides scholarship programs but mostly for the students from the State. As im a outside Maharashtra student I wasn't eligible for any of the scholarship programs.

Campus Life

3.5

The Gender ratio is almost 50:50. Their are students from almost every part of the country. Each department in the college organizes various Programs for students to show their talents. For my department i. e. Computer Science department there were many events like website designing, project making, quizzes etc. All of them were quite interesting and engaging.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I didn't opted for hostel as im living with my elder sister. So it wouldn't have been convinent for me to leave her alone. Besides, hostel are a bit expensive in this college and living by yourself will almost cost the same as living in the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni and the seniors are there but they aren't too quick to be reached. Though if approached they surely will help and suggest sone advices.

Admission

The dates for the admissions varies each year but it mostly starts in the month of June. I filled the merit form and then waited for my name to appear in the merit list. After that I had to attend the counselling. After counselling, I filled and submitted the admission form along with Demand Draft of the required amount of fees. Once all done I got the receipt and my admission was done. This college provides courses at a very nominal fee Structures so that's why I opted for this college.

Faculty

3.5

The tentative number of lecturers in my course are 20 with yhe average age of 35 years and qualification in B. Ed. The faculty is good but there's a lack of experience in teaching. Teachers are well qualified but they aren't able to teach with 100% efficiency. The number if lectures in my course per sem was almost close to 100. Some of the teachers here are former IT employees so they fo have the knowledge of how the IT world works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
