Remarks

I'll conclude the matter here. It's for academics it's good over all. But there is not much scope to explore. There is no encouragement for new things and internships. Over all Labs were ok. The management treat students like they are in schooling, they need treat them like professionals. In our department faculty was good and friendly. They have give the freedom to the students and chance to explore. There is no digital library.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum and exam structure is done by Jntu-kakinada. The college is affiliated to jawaharlal Nehru technological University. So the college follows the syllabus designed by the university. Is it relevant to research driven, the university has a good reputation.

Placement Experience

1.5

Here comes the main thing. The college never encouraged people for internships. Some people went on their own interest. They never provided any information though. By coming to placements there is no placement for mechanical, civil and electrcal people. Only very few companies came that too for it and another related jobs. I don't really know that they got any call letter

College Events

1.5

Main event which will be celebrated yearly. We have separate name for that "vaihbhav". The fest is celebrated for 2 days. First day we have cultural and academic competition where we invite people from all other colleges to take part in it. At night time it's is for cultural

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. But for computer science engineering I felt it's too expensive. For remaining branches it is feasible. There are some other fee like building and university fee, which is compulsory for all the students except management quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for none. As the fee was feasible there was no need to apply for educational loan. If it's for scholarship everyone can apply for the scholarship which will be give by the state government and can also apply for fee reimbursement if the candidate is from economically backwards community or have any reservation.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio is like 2:1 in computer science and communication engineering. 1:1 in in civil and electrical engineering. There was almost no girls in mechanical engineering. Labs and equipment are good compared local colleges There are very few extra circular activities that too they won't allow all the people who are interested. They will select who can attend them which I really hate about it. They won't give students any freedom, you need to stay in classroom if you are interested are not. Some times management treat students like they are in kinder garden not like professionals. Some debate competition will be conducted weekly. Here also they select people who will participate instead of their interest.

Hostel Facilities

3

My home was near by so I haven't opted for hostel. So I don't have much knowledge about it. But you can find rental rooms near by which is way cheaper if you can cook for dinner. For Breakfast and lunch there is college canteen available.

Alumni/Alumna

There will no connection between seniors and freshers. There is separate campus for first year students. Which is the saddest thing. There will no freshers party. So most of the students don't have interaction with seniors.

Admission

I got admission in another college. Because of my personal reasons and located near my house. It is good while compares with other colleges near by. From the first I love mechanical engineering so i chose the it. You need to write EAMCET exam which conducted by the state government to get an entrance.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is around 20 I really don't remember the number it's around the number i have given. 3 phd candidates present in our branch. Most the lecturers aged above 28. Some of the lecturers hold Relevent expertise. As per my knowledge 2 have experience in production domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
