I m grateful that by the blessings of god, i got admission in this college.

Well, Every Medical College has clinical postings where we learnt many things as this college too. These postings has cleared many doubts and made my basic concepts clear. Even we also had visited many health centres, as per curriculum activities, where we have learnt the prevalence of various public health problems at local levels.

Where, medical college has 1 year compulsory rotatory internship in eacg field of vast medicine, so that doctor which is going to get his MBBS degree got minimum basic knowledge in each field.

EUCRASIA - cultural event every year in april for 5 days. NAVRATRI every year in September/October for 9 days. SPORTS WEEK - summer and winter Various Days Celebration in February. Various seminars of recent advances in healthcare field by experts.

Well, tution fee is 600 per annum. Apart from that 1200 per annum fee for gymnasium, library and hostel accommodation. No other extra fees are collected apart from above mentioned fee structure. Fees are accepted in cash mode only. As all seats are filled by government, there are no chances of securing a seat by donation.

No, scholarship is not there, as it is the government college. Though, Scholarship are there for SC, ST, SEBC according to state government guidelines.

Well gender ratio is almost equal. No difference are meant here by cast, religion, ethnicity. Campus is beautiful and had well infrastructure. Annual sport weeks are celebrated twice per year. Apart from there, a cultural event called EUCRASIA celebrated every year in the april for 5 days. Even Navratri is also been played here by heart.

Yes. Hostel rooms are broad, with attached galary, well built so that ventilation is maintained proper. Though Washroom facilities are not attached with room, but there are enough washrooms so that in the morning, no chances of chaos.

Yes, alumni association is there, which carries meetings every year to get together and to do best for this college.

I always wanted to be a doctor, as i got good score in GUJCET, i got admission in M.B.B.S. course in government Medical College, surat. I preferred surat as, 1. I got it first place according to merit. 2. Surat is just 60 km away from my home town bharuch, so that it will be easier for me to go home in weekeds.

Well, faculties depends upon departments. Certain depts. like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, forensic medicine, pharmacology, ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, radiology, dermatology, pulmonology, dentistry had faculties around 10-15. like anatomy department had 12 faculties including 2 professors, 4 associate professor, 6 assistant professor plus 4 tutors & 4 resident doctors. Whereas some depts. like pathology, surgery, medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, preventive and social medicine had a huge faculty members, Like surgery department had 24 facilities, including 3 professors, 5 associate professors, 16 assistant professors plus 72 resident doctors.
