Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum of the college is decided by madhya Pradesh medical science University, jabalpur. The curriculum and examination procedure is similar to other medical colleges in the state. The teachers here are experienced and very interested in teaching. They also take a huge amount of time for doubt solving.
Placement Experience
Our college like other Colleges in mp has a compulsory one year internship programme for mbbs students. the interns are paid accordingly.
College Events
Sports events, Cultural events and convocation ceremony are held in our college annually. The sports events include cricket, basketball, volleyball as well as indoor games like chess, uno and carrom. The cultural events include debate, poetry, dance competition, singing competition. These are held in December while convocation ceremony is held in April.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is expensive last year the tuition fees was 1000000 which is supposed to increase this year. you have to pay fees on a lump sum amount there is no provision of installments. the fees can be paid thru a dd or cheque or by cash. During the first year you have to pay extra for caution money.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not avail any scholarship. As my family income was above the required level but now the mp govt is providing scholarship to people who have more than 75% in 12 th exam.
Campus Life
The National Service Scheme (NSS), a voluntary and value-based student youth programme, is one of the major youth schemes being operated in the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The Scheme was launched with the primary objective of developing the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. At UTU, Sports occupy a pivotal role in providing an all-round development to the students and provide a forum for interaction amongst themselves, with the rest of the University community as well as with outsiders. The University Sports Wing provides excellent opportunities and facilities in a variety of outdoor sports and indoor games.
Hostel Facilities
No. I didn't opt for hostel. But the hostel rooms are clean adequately large and there is provision for choosing the number of room partners. The rooms are divided in 2 students but you can also opt for single rooms but the hostel fees will increase accordingly.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students of our college are providing health facilities across the country. They provide valuable guidance for future aspects and post graduation enterance exam.
Admission
I got admission in 2014, though neet UG 2020. That time the admission process was offline where we had to go to Bhopal gmc for every round for registration and document verification. Now a days the councelling procedure is online you have to register and do choice filling online in the dme portal, after which you would be alloted a college where you will have to report for document verification and payment of fees.
