Its a very much known college of the state rajasthan and it is located in the textile city of rajasthan i. e. Bhilwara l. So it provides ample opportunities to the students to visit the textile industries to get practical knowledge and the most important positive remark is *100%* placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its a very good course curriculum as it includes all the fields of the textile not any only one. It includes spinning, weaving, designing, finishing, testing, garments so overall it covers almost all the wide field of textile.
Placement Experience
Since I am a student of textile technolog branch so I can tell that there is ample opportunities in placement and internship in textile feid. From last 3 batches there is 100% placement report in textile branch and big named companies recruit from college like VARDHMAN, RELIANCE, WELSPUN, RSWM and many more companies they also take students for internship.
College Events
There are many technical, cultural fest are conducted in college. Every year a Tech Fest and a cultural program GAITEY is conducted and many other programs are conducted by the committee i. e. Textile Engineering Society of college. And students hold the different post in the society so it gives them practical knowledge too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Approx 65000 p. a (self finance seat) Approx 35000 p. a (government aided seat) Approx 18000 p. a (total fee waiver seat) So the fees structure is feasible for all students it is not a great amount for the technology course and there is scholarship provided by alumni to the needy and talented students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an extra helping hand provided by the "TEAM" the alumni of our college to the needy and the students having good academics. They provide a scholarship of rs. 25000 to the students. And there is an another scholarship for students named "YASHAD SUMEDHA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME" by the "JINDAL GROUP".
Campus Life
There are so many exyeara curricular activities are performed like every year Freshers programme is there and every year a cultural fest by the name of "GAITEY" is celebrated. And the college is having a TEXTILE ENGINEERING SOCIETY (TES) which conducts many activities and international workshops too.
Alumni/Alumna
Since its only the government college of Textile Department in the state. so in every companies of textile there is atleast one senior working in that group so it becomes very much familiar and they provide a lot of help. They help you to get there for intern and as well as for placement.
Admission
I got admission in college through merit list formed on basis of jee main score card. I was lucky that I got this college as it is the only government college for textile department in the state. A online form is filled to select list of colleges and then merit list is formed.
Faculty
Faculty is so much experinced and having practical knowledge of their feild as they had worked in industries too so there is so much knowledge. almost all the faculties have completed their p. hd in their feild.
