What Students Say
Likes

- faculty is good and friendly in IT cse department
- there is communication between teacher and student
Dislikes
- there is no wifi facility in hostel campus and low speed wifi in college campus
- computer labs is not up to the mark and less facilities in labs.
- there is less coding culture in college but eventually it is increasing by our college club called techbizz.
Course Curriculum Overview
I find specific subjects interesting as they help me to reach my goals such as DSA, OOPS, LINUX, Operating systems, networking, and DBMS as they are also used vividly in the technical world today, and their clear basic concepts. It prepares us about 30% for the real world as new technologies are introduced every few months. The teaching method should be more application-based, instead of just theory. The timing is already appropriate.
Placement Experience
This is the negative point about the college, only the final year students i.e. 7th and 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies rarely visit, those that have visited as far as I know, TCS, changeCX, InnovaTech, ReadyBytes(this is Bhilwara based company, which also belongs to the alumni of this college, and does not offer decent placements).
Fees and Financial Aid
70000 year wise total fess including tution , exam and college development fees (the exam fees is 2000 in each semester, development fees is 5000 per semester and rest is tution fess). hostel fees is 12000 per year(at the time of entry in hostel you have to pain 2000 refundable security amount) and and mess fees is as per diet
Campus Life
Freshers in september, Gatey in March, Arrambh sports festival in october and Sangarsh in April. There are also inter-college tournaments. The library here is really small, no decent books are available. Most of the books are only course related. The classrooms are not properly equipped, only some of the classrooms have projectors, and those with black boards do not even have chalks. The computers and operating systems are outdated and only three macs are there, which are almost left untouched. There are a decent number of sports fests and the college even participates in many inter-college tournaments. The clubs are not decent and only conduct boring activities from time to time.
Hostel Facilities
The fascilities provided can be counted on my fingers only lights, old chairs and rusted beds are provided. Even a tubelight had to be bought by my friends. Meals are d recent but the mess it run by students only, so they have to work their asses off. The hostels are affordable atleas and the facilities do match the cost. I would still prefer the hostel over some room or PG.
Admission
I applied to other famous REAP colleges such as MBM Jodhpur, CTAE Udaipur, and RTU Kota, but only got this one. Yes I got rejected from MBM Jodhpur, CTAE Udaipur, and RTU Kota. The JEE score I got didn't make it there. There are two types of admission. Direct admission and through Rajasthan Engineering Admisssion Process. Based on the seats available you can get direct admission, but through REAP , first the outside states students get their seats allotted, then the seats are allotted to the home state students. The selection is on the basis of JEE, and 12th board score.
Faculty
30:1 student to the faculty ratio the faculty to student relation is healthy and friendly they guide students for their carrer path and give them best advice. the faculty I like are Professor Anurag Jagetiya sir and Professor Neha Sharma ma'am the thing I liked about them is their way of teaching and their explanations regarding specific topics that needed student attention and they are also very kind and frank toward students. According to me all the teachers are good but personally I find our basic civil enginnering professor a bit strict towards attendance as well as learning. In our university RTU kota there is semester system which means there are two end semesters exam each in every 6 months and there are three mid terms out which one can be assignment the end sem exams are quite moderate as a large syllabus needs to be covered while in mid terms only few units are there due to which it becomes easy. About 90% students clear the examination.
Night Life
There is an open gym which was inaugurated by the vice chancellor of RTU, the equipment are not decent not sufficient for body building. Library is really small can barely accommodate 50 students. The grounds here are really large but not well maintained. The same can be said about the hostels.
