Engineering Graduate from Tier 2 Engineering College

good remark-1) They are able to retain few good professors as they teaching here from last 10-12 years2) College management was transparentCould be better Remarks-1) They can do better in organizing better placement drives.

I appeared in UPTU entrance exam, I scored 24000 rank and I opted this college because it is near to my home.

It was standard b.tech course offered by most of universities spreading to 8 semester. Final year university offered to choose electives, in final year I elected wireless communication and Telecommunication as elective subjects

College offered internship in startup electronic company in Delhi, During internship I did not received any stipend.Company was dealing in electronic equipment manufacturing and SMPS.

Most of companies which visited college for campus placement were for agriculture engineering only, However college placement cell managed to attract few companies for pool campus drive.Pool campus drive was conducted at Delhi, Agra and Mathura.Following companies attended pool campus drive-TCSInfosysWiproMBTCisco

Every year we celebrate annual day function, It was one week celebration. Everytime it was organized at college level and small scale.1 week Celebration was well planned in advance with each day schedule well defined in advance.

Fee structure was like any other engineering college in Uttar Pradesh. I was enrolled in free seat, which is usualy offered at discounted rates. My annual fees for Btech- electronics and communication engineering was 19, 000 + 5000(for university exams)

College has tied up with few banks which were ready to provide educational loan for Engineering students.I remember there was one scholarship to economical weaker students/SC-ST students where state govt will pay whole year fee by themself.

Gender ratio girls- 3/10boys- 7/10Hostel Parties- No hostel parties were allowed that time, It was strict rule in campus hostel for not to organize any party in hostel.Workshop- I have not seen any our college was organizing any statelevel workshop, however on regular basic we got opportunity to attend workshops organized at other engineering institutes,

I never stayed in College Hostel but I used to visit college hostel to meet my friends and heared feedback from them, Food quality was not that good.Room quality was good with most of facilities provided in Room only.Hostel was in outskirts of city, so it was difficult to commute between city and college hostel

3rd year onward only, I started contacting alumni and Sr students where I came to know we have alumni working in almost all organisation in india and few alumni in North America and Europe.Whenever I tried contacting alumni network majority of time they helped me and clarified my queries

Exam was bit hectic with tight schedule. I still remember few end semester exams are scheduled on continuous days, leaving very limited time for exam preparation.Lab exams were chill, with not that much pressure on completing work on provided timeline, time buffer was also enough in lab exams

Faculty was like any other private engineering college in Uttar pradesh, Most of lecturer were recent Mtech passout or pursuing part time MBA.PHD holder faculty was very less in number(Best part about SSITM is they also offer B.tech in Agriculture Engineering which is course offered by 1% of engineering college in Uttar Pradesh)
