Wasted my 4 years

I wasted my 4 years in this college. Worst faculty, worst staff. Staff behaves like gunda. Sometime they beat student brutally. I will never recommend this college to anyone.

I took Uttar Pradesh Technical University - Seat (UP-Seat) and got 36000 rank. The reason for opting this college for its year of establishment. This college was established in 1997 and for my rank it seems good to get into this college.

The college offers all type of courses. All streams engineering degree, Agricultural engineering, B.Ed, MBA and M.tech too. But this is only for making money. Not a single course stands as per its standard.

Stipend. This word is a joke for college. Do not expect this from SSITM. No company came and some companies which came as a part of placement process they took money from student saying as a security deposite and never returned back. Also, after 3 months they didn't paid salary

Training and placement cell in charge are jokers. They don't know how to communicate but will at the end of the season will promise for some big companies MNC. However, till date they were not able to call a single MNC. They call fake companies and take money from them. So, this is two way process of earning money as companies earn from student and college management earns from companies. Always student is at loss and career at high risk.

College Annual Fest is celebrated every year but for this money is collected from student. 700INR from each student even you attend it or not. It is compulsory. Take a stall and keep it and now student will perform. Not a proper place to sit also.

For my time fee structure was 51k. However next year it was increased and the surprising part was it was increased for the past year. That means in 2nd year you are paying increased fee for 2nd year as well as first year.

No scholarship. This college earns from college, how can we expect college will motivate students. Banks are offering student loan and that was available during the counselling only.

Campus was like school student. Once you enter in college gates are closed you cannot go outside for tea or coffee. If something urgent is there then you need to write application and get it signed by Dean. They have good Workshop.

Hostel room is just having gates where you can come and go. Mess food is worst. Daal is having fly in it and most of time food is not cooked.

Senior are good. They help junior. But initial if you are living in hostel then you have to go through a tough ragging life although after some time environment becomes cool.

The best part of the exam is admit card. Every semester you have to waste at least 8 hours of your time a day before exam for collecting admit card. As a day before they have fine you inappropriately and you have to pay it on the same day. Going to city and coming back will take 4hrs and again you have stand it queue to get it cleared by account section.

Faculty teach college student as KG kids. Always force to make assignments instead of giving them proper knowledge. I believe its not faculty mistake as they themselves are just college grads passout so simply they ask student to copy from Notebook and prepare notes. No real teaching. New Faculty are hired for 18k per month salary on the papers but they are paid only 6k. Pathetic.
