Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our course curriculum was carefully curated in order to provide a holistic view of general management and subjects like politics, History, etc. The curriculum was pretty thorough in short. I opted for the babed specialization since teaching was my area of interest since childhood.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are good and many decent companies and research institutions are aggressively recruiting students for a diverse profile base. Packages offered are also pleasantly good and I feel obliged to institute for establishing the necessary base of my career.

Hostel Facilities

5

I always had great fun in the Hostel. On every Sunday and Holidays we paly in our hostel grounds.Sometimes, boys from other hostels also come and join us in playing. We play cricket, football on the ground. It was really fun and we all get refreshed.

Admission

I searched for the best college near by my location and then I found invertis University and online after enquiry register myself. Then I visited the college campus. Then I have given entrance exam and I qualified the exam. And I got then admission.

Faculty

5

Faculty is good. I would say some are really nice and qualified professors. Some of them are really great teachers and some of them are considerate. Some of them are really good at research and on the other hand, there are a few which are not great as teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
