Course Curriculum Overview
Structure of the course is very well structure and laid. It suits the demand of a specialised bachelor's level program in the domain of yoga science. It provides a good blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. Semester wise system of examination is followed and 2 semester examinations are conducted in one year of study. Yoga skill assessment and theoretical tests are held before the end semester examination for performance evaluation.
Placement Experience
In terms of placement the institute has tied up with yoga clubs and centre where the students can get decent packages. However, one can also explore opportunities for job like yoga instructor on his own. Internship or yoga skill building is an essential part of the course. Pardes the institute provide in-house facility as well as options for student to get the internship done on their own.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of the colleges is not too much as compared to some private yoga institutes that are charging lakhs. For the entire duration of the program one has to pay around 55 to 60 thousand rupees. That is each year you have to submit around Rupees 20,000 before the start of new academic year.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my knowledge the central government offers scholarship to the students provided that they fulfill all the necessary criterias. One of my friend also applied for the central government scholarship and got it sanctioned. Educational loans are also available from private and public sector banks.
Campus Life
In terms of extra curricular activities mostly sports and yoga based activities are organised by institute. Yoga camps, health camps, exercise camps etc are organised from time to time. Events like international yoga day, foundation Day etc are also celebrated. In terrms of infrastructure institute is well and good.
Admission
I applied for the college by visiting the official website of the institute and downloading the admission application form. I filled the form and submitted it along with the documents like the marksheet and school leaving certificate. After acceptance of the admission request and verification of documents I was granted the the admission in the college.
Faculty
The faculty members in our institute are professional and trained yoga expert. Understand this ancient science of yoga and make sure that the students are taught right from the basics of it to the the crux of it. They are soft spoken and helpful and never say no when a student turn up with a query.
