College life at CMRIMS

It's the best college and the timings of the college is also good. We have enough time to come back to home and finish our personal works. I guess all the people of India come and admit here to learn, and eventually end up becoming friends.

The lecturers are very friendly and they give notes and some of the lecturers do revise the portions before the exam. First we have the theory exams and later lab exams. We were the last batch of CMRIMS autonomous. Now it's been changed to university but the lecturers are still same and teach very well with the slides and labs are comfortable and lecturers encourage us to code in our own way.

Placement is a good. Many companies came including SAP, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Concentric etc. Internship is exception, if you want to do internship then we can join. It's not compulsory.

Many IT fest's and English day, Kannada day, ethnic day and founder's Day is celebrated. Debate competition, essay writings, poem writing, art competition are also done. On teacher's Day and children's Day v celebrate by cutting cake and enjoy the most important memories of our student life.

Depends on the percentage of the PUC marks. Starting from 65000-100000, For Indian citizen it's within 100000. For the NRIs it's more than 100000 per annum. For the SC/ST it may vary and they get the scholarship.

CMRIMS offers scholarship by the university. They give 10000 in the scholarship. The scholarship certificate will be given in Nagpur campus which is the main CMR campus in Bangalore. Everyone can apply for the scholarship.

Labs are good and the electronic kits are also good. It's a spacious lab which can accommodate 50 members at once. They have 5 such labs. SPORTS are mainly held in the Baglur campus where all the CMR beaches unite and we celebrate sports day.

I am not opted for hostel so I do not know much about the hostel facility. The food is great and they serve 3 times meal. The girls hostel is inside the campus so it's safe for girls. If they want to go outside they should enter in the register.

Ya every year they do the alumini and the past 5 year batches are called for the event they try to be in contact with the batches through the watsapp groups and the phone no.s which was given during registration.

First I bought the form and later net the principal of the college and She asked me about the interest on BCA and she went through my 2 PUC markscard. Later she granted me the permission to fill up the form.

Lecturers and the HOD of the IT department are very friendly and also most of them are professors. They have more than 10 years of experience in teaching. They are ready to explain us several times if we didn't understand. They give notes for each and every chapter of the subject.
