Anonymous's Review On CMR Institute Of Management Studies (Autonomous) - [CMRIMS], Bangalore

I first tried to take admission in christ Joseph's and jain though I could not clear entrance in the first two I cleared it in jain but due to high fees I could not join there but when I heard my relative used to give guest lectures in cmr I decided to give it a try. When I joined cmr I got a scholarship of 20000 and my fee was reduced and also I enjoyed my three years in cmr the teachers are lovely the friends I made have been the best there is a spacious library and varieties of clubs and the college organizes life skills programs to help students with the placements and the placements percent is also very good.

The course was related to the current market situation and the teachers used to explain it with a lot of live examples in the market and we would also have PPTS to ensure a blend of both online as well as classroom learning. We were given enough industrial exposure each semester we were taken for an industrial visit to different sectors of the industry and it was a lot of fun with friends and teachers and also the learning part was good.

Ya we had to do one internship to attain our maximum credits though the college helped us get internships I got an internship at ITC but with no stipend just exposure to the company.

Many companies have visited our college during the last 6 months and many final year students getting placed in different companies and myself getting placed in deloitte it was a wonderful experience getting placed and the feeling we will be working. The placement process begins with students registering themselves for the companies they are interested in through a separate website of the college and after meeting the requirement the students are required to take up aptitude test of the company and after they clear the aptitude the GD and PI rounds are held and the selected students are taken aboard by the company.

The campus life was good over the three years with a lot of fun activities as there is a guest each year organised by different clubs with a variety of competitions and the participations of students is also huge. Events such as Sanskriti and vibrant were the highlights large gatherings were there and it was so much fun. We also had an U25 summit held at our campus with may entrepreneurs sharing their experiences to youngsters how they became succesful.

The campus infrastructures are good the sports team have their own facilities such as ground equipment for every sport there is alo a sports coach who looks after all the inter college competitions and makes all the arrangements for the students and the players are selected not on bias everyone is given equal opportunity. However I have never observed wifi part because everyone has their own personal data. The size of the library is huge it is very spacious and with a lot of books in it not related to the course but books of all variety.
