B.Tech Civil Engineering

Civil engineering follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

The college has a Placement department and focuses on overall development of the students. They also organize for various guest lectures by professionals for the students. They provide students with internship and job opportunities. Companies like HCL, Wipro etc come and recruit the students.

The fee structure of for civil engineering is around 1 lakh 70 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball etc. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fate in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

Travancore Engineering College at Roaduvila, Kollam district was a self-financing college affiliated to the University of Kerala. The college was under the Travancore Education Society, Kallabalam. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination or Examinations recognized as equivalent, with 50% marks are eligible for admission. The students will have to give the entrance exam for the admission and based on their merit they will be selected.

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.
