Remarks

This is the best B-School of Ahmadabad. I liked the courses offered by Narayana Business School with a good session planning which covers all the important aspects for my Masters. This college not only changes your mental health but also gives you a physical development. You can see yourself developing here. The first day of the college where we were made realized that going to college not only means just enjoying, it always means growing our-self in a positive way.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am pursuing PGDM from Narayana Business School. We have highly qualified faculties making us learn things by the simplest method. The teaching pattern and the course planning session is very systematic and up-to-date. What I have experienced here is we not only have to learn things here but we should also know how to apply them into practical life. I love the warm and supportive behaviour of faculties towards each and every student.

Internships Opportunities

5

We all are trained for our internship interviews too, as said before. We get a lot of options in front of us for our internships. We get companies according to the work which we wish to do not the work which company wishes us to do. After the completion of the internships, we all are supposed to make a report on that and state our learning of internships. Even in this COVID-19 situation where everything has stopped, our college successfully placed at some of the other companies for "work from home" with the job role we wish to do.

Placement Experience

There is no specific time for brainstorming for interviews or placement drives, from the day we take the admission in Narayana our grooming and brainstorming starts, which leads us to get placed at Top companies by performing great at interviews. Not only for jobs, but we get placed at best companies even for our internships. 6 months before the completion of our course we all are placed at our respective companies, with the desired job roles. For encouraging startup, our college has its own cosy place named as "My Idea Corner", where students are free to share their ideas and get help through anyone keeping aside the student-teacher relationship and maintaining a healthy environment for brainstorming.

Campus Life

5

There are many events which are held at NBS, which gives fun and knowledge both. All the festivals are celebrated here at Narayana like Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Diwali, etc. They also host their own fests like knowledge fests and cultural fests. All these are handled and organized by the clubs of NBS, like Events club, placement club, Social Media club, etc. Besides that our classroom environment is also so good, we have good facilities for air-conditioned spacious smart classrooms. We also have our own open library where one can have a feeling of reading in the open air.

Admission

The college conducts their own entrance exams. This includes a GD and then a PI. On the basis of this, further selection is made.

Interview Experience

4

All the students are divided into groups according to the size and then they are guided about the college in detail. After that they are questioned into the group, there's a group discussion in which teachers observe inputs of students. On the basis of this GD, the students are shortlisted and send for PI. For PI they are provided with some deference material and then they are interviewed personally and then the selection is done. All you have to do to clear the GD/PI is to be confident and stay to the point.

As I have already said placements are good also it's something which depends on one's ability, capabilities and knowledge. Though the average package lies between 6-7 LPA and goes upto 20LPA. As I'm going to start my internship and till now within 10 days more than 150 companies has came to NBS for providing internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
