Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is standard, in the first year we only learn the basics of computer science, most probably similar to what we learnt in our high school. From the second year, we have course-specific subjects and lab sessions, before the end semester exams, we have internal assessments.
Placement Experience
Some of the companies coming here for the placement drive Google, Techjini, Tech Mahindra, Global merger and Huawei. The training and placement department helps us greatly by training us in soft skills and programming and aptitude.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for B.Sc is Rs 25,000 per year, for the whole course it is Rs 75,000, exclusive of the hostel fees, that is intimated separately. This fee is affordable by most in case, not education loans are obtainable.
Campus Life
Sports and cultural are the extracurricular activities that happen at the college, the college organizes sports fest on the month of May every year and a cultural program called MILANA every year. There are coaching camps held for certain sports too.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels at Oxford are very spacious and hygienic, it could accommodate upt0 2000 people in it, it has all essential facilities like 24 hours current and water supply. The mess hall is clean and the food provided is nutritious.
Admission
The application form needs to be filled online only and also the fee is to be paid online too, only that mode of payment is accepted. After I submitted the application I was shortly called for an interview process. I score 65% in my boards, the minimum is 35%.
Faculty
Our faculties are very supportive and inspiring, as some of us are from small towns don't understand certain concepts quickly, but they don't lose patience, they teach us well and keep the class lively and interactive.
