Course Curriculum Overview
The institute follows the syllabus and course curriculum as per its affiliated university that is Dr. Ambedkar University which in turn follows the curriculum in line with the Bar council of India's defined guidelines for a bachelor's level program in the domain of law. the University has adopted a semester wise practice of conducting the examination for various UG and PG courses. As per this system semester examinations are held twice a year with 6 months gap in between.
Placement Experience
To be honest about the placement it is something students have to look out for at their own however since the college has a reputation refence of the college name can help students get very good packages and offer. The very same thing is true with internship as you can land into a good internship with institutes reference.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government institute the fee in our college is very manageable and feasible. For the entire duration of the program will have to pay less than Rs 35, 000. The fees along with other miscellaneous charges is to be submitted at the start of each academic year and it comes out to be around Rs 7, 000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship that is the post-matric 10+2 scholarship to the students based on fulfillment of certain eligibility criteria. Similar kind of scholarship is also offered by in Tamil Nadu State government to students who are domicile of the state. Educational loans are also offered by private and public sector commercial banks howecer since the fees is not too much looking for scholarships can be a better option.
Campus Life
In terms of extra curricular activities the institute has only NSS and NCC clubs to offer. Events like the Republic Day, Independence Day, Foundation Day national law day extra are celebrated annually. Activities like moot court organised from time to time. As far as the infrastructure of classrooms and and other things like library and seminar hall is concerned I can say that our institute is fine.
Admission
Admission to the institute are strictly based on the score of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) which is the national level law entrance exam conducted annually. I sat for the CLAT counselling in which I was allotted a seat in the institute. Being a popular government law college and with minimum fees it was a natural choice for me to opt for.
Faculty
The professor that are teaching in our institute are highly qualified and are vastly experienced. Most of them have spent good number of years practicing law in the courts. Their expertise in legal practice and hands-on experience comes in handy when through their teaching they ensure that things are explained in a easy to learn manner.
