Course Curriculum Overview

I was a student of Mechanical engineering. It is an excellent subject to build a career. It is a four years undergraduate full-time engineering course. The minimum eligibility criteria for this course is qualification of plus 2 examination with 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board.

Placement Experience

Our college have a placement cell which provide placement training and personality development program through professional, experienced and qualified trainers in order to prepare us for campus interviews. It has many other services other than this. Few of the recruiters who visited our campus are American Megatrends, CIRCOR International Inc. and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is absolutely feasible and affordable. Our college mainly follow Anna University guidelines. Fee structure varies for two different quotas (Government quota and Management quota). Any financially backward class can avail our university.

Campus Life

Apart from studies, PIE also encourage others curriculum activities like sports. We also got to learn that curriculum enhances spirit of studies and also keeps us physically and mentally fit and strong.

Hostel Facilities

Our college have vibrant infrastructural facilities. The college campus is of 250000 square feet. It accomodates well furnished and colourful library with huge books stock, classrooms that fosters, cafeteria with quality food at affordable prices and separate hostel facilities for girls and boys with excellent furniture.

Admission

PIE is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by New Delhi AICTE. They basically follow Single Window System after qualifying plus 2 examination. Moreover, students can also take admission through management quota. 2354 is the TNEA Counseling code.

Faculty

PIE have one of the best faculty team. It is futile to tell about their teaching qualities. Apart from this, PIE have a reasearch cell. It has the objective of research activities and encouraging reasearchers in the campus by providing necessary laboratory support and facilities.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.
