Entrance Preview
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue something related to fashion management and not core designing. This course taught me how to work under pressure and how to maintain originality of work and why it's important to maintain.
Internships Opportunities
All the buying and export houses approached the college and also liaison offices of major brands like gap and H&M approached plus the stipend started from Rs 5000 .Till rs 13000 and sometimes no stipend because the company's goodwill was enough to add value to the resume.
Placement Experience
The various export and buying houses that came offered salaries ranging between Rs.15000 to Rs.25000 and some of the companies which came were impulse buying agency, gap, shahi exports, triburg, orient craft.
College Events
Pearl utsav, alumni meet, Diwali Mela, annual portfolio are some of the major events and apart from these workshops keep happening regularly which help the students to know better about the current condition of the industry. The entire college participates in the events and each student keenly participates in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is average. Neither too expensive nor less. It is a little bit on a higher side like approximately Rs.1.5 lakhs per semester. But the quality of education and library are very good which is an add on benefit and the comfort level provided to the students within the college proves that the fee is worth.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship to the students as per the score in the enterance exam and has certain limitations of scoring a particular grade each semester.
Campus Life
The college has 90 percent girls and 10 percent boys. Students from all over the country come to study here. People from all kinds of backgrounds come to study here starting from middle income groups to very high income groups. The college needs to pay a little more attention to clubs, societies and extra curriculars.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is quite strong and the seniors have always been quite helpful and friendly. Every senior and alumni has a soft corner for the college and whenever they meet another alumni or college student it gives them a great sense of recognition.
Faculty
The faculty was always available to help and gave personal attention as and when approached for help. The faculty had one to one interaction with the students and a personal touch with all the students.
