Good option for MBA distance learning

The course curriculum is line with a full time MBA program for what is said as a 2 year PGDM program. Semester-wise orientation of examination is followed. In total there are 4 semester examinations in the 2 year duration of the course. Before each end semester examination tests and assignments are taken to evaluate the performance from time to time.

In terms of placement and internship one has to manage everything on his own. For full time regular student University provides this support however for distance learning students there is nothing much on offer.

Fee structure of the college is ok and cannot be said to a very hefty or costly one. For the 2 year program one has to pay around Rs 90,000. This includes all the study material and other expenses. During the time of admission you have to submit around 45000 rupees.

Various state governments offer scholarship to the student who are domicile of the state. Scholarships are offered to students from reserved categories as well as to students from the educationally and economically backward classes of the society. One can also opt for educational loan facility that the private and public sector banks offer.

As a distance learning student nothing much to tell about the extra curricular activities or various event's celebration in the college. This is something that a regular or full-time student will be in better capacity to tell about. Based on assessment of the regional centre where I studied I can say that infrastructure was sound.

Applied to the college based on my CAT score. Since I didn't got a good score in CAT to get admission in full time program at IIM I thought to continue my job and pursue MBA from distance learning. Sikkim Manipal is a popular University I opted for this one. Based on my CAT score I was granted the admission in the college.

As a distance learning student I had a bare minimum interaction with the faculty members. Since I was doing job I rarley used to visit the regional centre of the university. However, some time say on weekend like Saturdays when I visited the centre I found the faculty members were quite knowledgeable and experience. They knew how to make student grasp things in easy to learn manner.
