Course Curriculum Overview

We take examinations 3 times in a semester. The Course curriculum is quite hectic because in B.tech we have numerous exams and practicals, assignments, projects, research papers and many more things. But these things keeps us busy throughout our semester and makes the studies more interesting.

Placement Experience

TATA Consultancy, Autodesk, Allsoft, Hero are few amongst the many companies that visit our campus. The good placement record of this college motivated me to take an admission here. Various workshops are also organized to train students to prepare them for the industry.

College Events

Our College also organizes an inter branch sports tournament in all games like badminton, basketball, cricket, chess, table tennis etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure over here is quite normal just like other engineering colleges. Since I got admission through Lateral entry system so I have given a fees of around 37K for the third semester. Annually, the fees sums up to to nearly 80K

Campus Life

The labs are well equipped and have all latest equipments, machines and motors which help us learn the theory easily. Sports and cultural events are also organized at regular intervals to keep the students engaged.

Hostel Facilities

As I have also taken the hostel accommodation, so the charges for that is 55K per annum. An addition of 4000 was also taken as a security fee which is non refundable. Our Hostel is quite good with spacious rooms and mess. Moreover a 24 hour WiFi service is also provided to us.

Admission

I got admission to this College through the Lateral Entry System, as I had a three years polytechnic diploma in engineering from an institute affiliated to Punjab State Board of technical of B.Tech. Program.

I have a very good bonding with my teachers. They have helped me throughout my last semester with the studies. They maintain a very healthy environment in the class room. They always try to motivate us in thinking about new innovations and ideas.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult
