One of Best woman colleges in Chennai

I completed my BCA from Sri Krishnaswamy College for Women, the teachers here were quite friendly and the involvement of clubs made it quite fun during our college life. I participated in many competitions and took many seminars which helped me alot. Overall I liked the college very much.

The college is associated with the University of Madras, the examinations are also held by the University. The course is quite good and covers the most essential subjects like management, computer network security, coding and so on. Examinations are held twice a year due to semester evaluation and college also holds internal examination.

Many companies like TCS, HDFC, Omega, Sutherland, Mahindra Tech and so on visit the campus regularly for recruiting students for the different job profile. There are also multiple job opportunities as per respective skillsets available after this course.

The first year fee for the course was around Rs. 24,000. The fee charged per semester was around Rs. 10,000 and the fee for entire course duration was around Rs. 60,000. The fee was very affordable for me and quite feasible.

The college actively held workshops, seminars and guest lectures on different technologies like Android, Industry 4.0 and so on to provide students with better exposure and knowledge to students. The college has a technical club TechnoByte for conducting and handling technical events at college. The college also had high-end systems in computer labs and had a variety of rich library.

Direct admissions are available for the course. The admission forms are available at the college office, some documents are needed to attest with admission form and then the documents are cross verified at the college and the student is providing admission. I took admission this way and also was asked to submit a portion of the fee which I did later on after starting attending the college.

The faculty of the college is quite good and engaging. The students are regularly promoted by them to learn more and add more skills to their profile, the teachers are pretty knowledgeable and good in guiding students for their career. The teachers are professionals of the respective discipline.
