My College Review

Amity University is one of the premier Institute in Gwalior when it comes to the overall professional and personal development of students. We got various platforms for our skills enhancement and personality development. One of the major aspects of our college is it's learning systems and providing platforms like international Conference, seminars and workshops. Each day we have a new announcement, lots of academic and non-academic events are organised regularly. We have a lot of subjects to be studied during a semester which ensures to us gaining all-round knowledge.

I am pursuing B.Com (Honours) at the university. During my last year, what I have really observed is that our course structure is designed in such a manner to ensure the overall development of the student making him proficient in every aspect. We have additional compulsory subjects, french, behavioural science and communication skills, for enhancing skills which are essential even for character betterment and linguistic empowerment. In each section, we have at most 60 students. We as our elective gets options from selecting among subjects offered by various other departments of the university.

All of our placement related activities are conducted by our central resource centre. They make liaisons with potential recruiters throughout the year. They organise various activities for preparing the students for the industry. Because of their efforts, we partnered with 80 companies from different sectors including HDFC Bank, Wipro, TCS, L&T and many other top listed firms. Our seniors were able to extract the highest package for B.Tech 10.5 lakhs and for MBA 12.4 lakhs and many more such lucrative packages.

We have our annual youth fest amicroma where all our faculties and students work together to organise various events and games. For sports, annual competitions are held under the flag name of Sangathan. Throughout the year various international conferences, seminars and workshops are organised by all departments. Our libraries have all up to date journals and magazines. In the whole semester we don't have to spend a single rupees to buy books we get it from libraries. Our classrooms are air-conditioned with all digital equipment like projectors, etc to ensure smooth conduct of lectures. We have our cultural group Sarang, literary group parikalp and tech societies also.
