Course Curriculum Overview

1

Its is good. We have subjects accoriding to the year we are studying. The college sets the lecture timing according to the time it needs spread througout the week. Also it works fine.

Internships Opportunities

I am still a student, and also have not worked anywhere but there is no placement. The college doesnt got tie ups yet. The ninth semester of our course requires internship. My seniors got the job and are working fine at different places.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no placement about opportunities, we make out portfolio and send it to different firms. If they like our work, they call us to inform we got the interview or the job.

College Events

1

Festivals are celebrated as well as the sports. Events happens as they come. Its a campus so every college has theirs and its open to all .Also we celebrate campus festivals every year. There are intercollege events that we organise.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its expensive.80 thousand is the my current fee. Plus our stationary expenses is almost 20 to 30 thousand per year. And adding the field trips, tourand compitition fee.It is get almost 1 and a half lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is loan facility for the students who can not pay the whole fee at a time. The college is strict about paying the fee on time, they also understands if there is a problem.

Campus Life

1.5

We do have a small library, nice ground and courts for the sports. A good swimming pool as well. Its for all, so that is a good thing that everyone can use them.Hostel in the campus hav their own table tenis setup to pass their time.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good, helping and generous. The relation between seniors nd juniors is much better now. They help us and we work fine together. And plus we all meet on fridays in the seminar hall to discuss on the upcoming compititions etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
