Architecture colleges affiliated to Anna University

The course curriculum is designed to meet the needs of a bachelor level program in architecture. As any other course the pattern of examination followed is semester-wise system of exam. That is in total there are 10 semester during 5 years. To complete a single year of study one has to appear in 2 semester examination. The end semester examination evaluate both practical and theoretical knowledge. In between the semester examination and before the end semester examination regular evaluations are done through assignments and tests.

Placement rate of our college is good however it cannot be said that 100% placement is there. Apart from the on campus placement offer their opportunities through off campus drive where one can get desired placement package. In terms of internship one has to make efforts on his own as through college you cannot get a satisfying internship offer.

Fees of a college is quite manageable as compared to other private colleges offering Architecture course. For a 5 year program one has to pay around 2.5 to 3 lacs. At the time of admission you have to submit around Rs 60, 000 includes the tuition fee, misc charges and other expenses.

As of now the state government of Tamil Nadu offers scholarship to the students. State offeref scholarships are for students who are domicile of the state and are from reserved categories or are from the educationally backward classes of the society. Educational loans are offered by private sector bank as well as the public sector bank. Anna University also offers scholarship to the meritorious students.

College organises various creative and design competition from time to time. Regular events like the annual fest, Independence Day etc are celebrated. Infrastructure wise our college has a spacious library, classrooms, auditorium, design studio etc. Overall the infrastructure can be said to be good.

Appeared for the JEE Main paper 2 as well as NATA. Since I got a decent score in both the exams I sat for the counselling. I got this college through my JEE main score. After getting the seat allocated I completed the procedural formalities to take the admission. I applied for this college because it is one of the popular college of architecture in my city of residence Coimbatore.

The faculty in our college is among the top faculty in architecture based course in the city. The best part is that they have professional exposure in the domain which is seen in in their teaching methodology. Since it is a practical based course their focus is always on making student understand the applicability part of the subjects.
