Good Women's college for graduation courses

I completed my BCA from MMK SDM, Mysore. I had quite good friends in the college, and seniors also helped us alot in studies. The labs were also good and helped us in practice and some of us did not have computers in the start. The teachers also guided us and helped alot in getting placed also. I enjoyed the whole course duration here alot.

The University of Mysore provides the college with affiliation. So, the college follows the prescribed syllabus. The syllabus is quite good and covers all the important subject required like DSA, OOPS, OS, CNS and Databases in the course. The syllabus also contains some practical labs which are examined by external teachers in the viva. The exams are held twice a year as the course follows a semester-based approach.

There were many job opportunities after the course, many companies like TCS, Wipro and Infosys visited the college for pool campus placements. Most of the students got placed in college placements while others tried and got placed through off-campus placements as the need for Computer Science graduates is quite high.

The fee for my BCA charged yearly was around Rs. 30,000 which could be paid in instalments or as convenient. The total fee for my BCA was around Rs. 90,000, which I consider being quite feasible as per the course as the usual fee for the course is around 40-5000 per year in most of the college.

The college hosted multiple cultural, technical events around the year like Mehandi competition, dance, debate, extempore, quizzes and many more to engage students in creative activities. The college had a good computer lab where we used to practice our practical concepts and the college also had a good library with a good number and quality of books.

Direct admissions were available for BCA here, under the University of Mysore. I took admission here because I was particularly interested in tech and computer science. The admission process was quite quick, easy and time-saving. I was also asked to submit a portion of my fees to ensure my admission to the college.

The teachers of the college were amazing, kind and intellectual. The teachers always motivated is to do well in our lives and not stay limited by the syllabus and also motivated us to explore and learn more. They also kept a practical approach, which made us pretty curious and had us interested in researching and learning more
