The course covers everything related to civil engineering following Anna University's syllabus. Each department has a well equipped laboratory where students can get hands-on experience on the concepts we are learning. Semester exams are conducted once in six months.

The college has a placement facilities and many companies do come for campus interview. More than 60 students were placed in the campus interview process. College also conducts training on how to appear for interviews to all students.

Our college conducts regular events such as conference s on emerging trends every semester. Apart from academic programs, Graduation day , road safety awareness programs are also conducted. The college also has NSS and NCC which conducts social awareness programs.

The fee structure is nominal as it is a government college. The total course fee is 50000 and each semester fees has to be paid. The fee is inclusive of library, laboratory, mark sheets, getting certificates. There is a waiver for differently able students.

There is an orientation day for all freshers to get them introduced to the campus and facilities. There is also sports day and independence day celebrations every year. Student cultural activities are also conducted often.

Separate hostel for boys and girls are available. Boy's hostel is 1 km away and girl's hostel is in campus. The hostel mess provides both veg and non veg meals. The mess is also separate for girls and boys.

Admission through TNEA common entrance exam. My 12th standard marks and entrance exam results added into a cutoff based on which the score is generated. Seats allocated based in the course and college choice.
