General review about GCE

* In the first students study basics of engineering and maths papers * From 2nd year on wards we get in to the department where it really gets intersting along with practical classes * Some subjects are not updated to the date they are teaching old syllabus, It should be improved Two semester exams per year, Each semester has three internal assessments . It was so easy

Interships are provided by government affiliated companies and some power plants the intership period is around 25 days with the stipend of 10,000 for accommodation and transportation along with the government approved certificate

* Students can be eligible for placement at final year, In some cases from 3rd year *L and T - 8 job offers Voltas -3 Pinnacle -12 Hyundai -3 The above mentioned companies visited electoral and electronics department *In my class 25 students have placed so far it is 45 % * I'm going to give civil service exams Over-all placements are not too good

* Tution fee increases once per five year ( very minimal increase in fee) around 4-6 percentage *Per year tuition fee is 6500 with. 1500 for examination fee * Bc/ Mbc scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, Pragati scholarship, First graduation scholarship and beedi scholarship * I haven't taken any particular campus responsibility

* Symposium are conducted for every department in the end of the semester ( March and November) and all the important festivals are conducted like Christmas,Diwali, and pongal celebration. *Books are heavily available at the central library but journals are not available as much as books * Sports is the least explored department in my college, really it should be improved *No students involve in any social activities known to my knowledge

* Men Hostel is built in 2015 so it's quite new and has a nice infrastructure, all time electricity available, spacious rooms ( 4 students per room) * Food quality is quite bad the offer rice at twice in a day for lunch and dinner and the water is also poor No availability of RO water * Hostel is super affordable it charges only 6000 per year and the registration process can also be done along with the college admission process it is easy to apply and get selected. * No one can stay in hostel expect college students * There is no PG and rented place near college

*All students who have completed higher secondary education or who have completed diploma are eligible for this course * Application process can be done in online on Anna University official website *Cut-off is based on 12 standard physics, chemistry,maths * In counselling document verification is done in offline that is a tedious task It could hava been done in online
