B.com in accounting and finance is an undergraduate course premised on the concept that accounting finds its ultimate expression in practice, and hence consequently seeks to develop application-oriented and problem solving, and analytical skills in candidates. I personally chose this subject because I am into commerce.

Job opportunities or placements aren't provided here. But the commerce students do get few opportunities when companies visit our college campus, which is why I chose this subject. And we all know the importance of accounting and finance in today fast growing and developing world.

Fee structure is not given or rather I should say, it shouldn't be disclosed as the fee structure keeps on changing every year. However, the fee structure here is justified and not too expensive depending on the amenities provided.

Annual sports is conducted every year in the month of December or January. Intercollege poem making and slogan writing competitions are held under NSS. The goals of the research cell along IQAC is to promote scientific research by providing the code of ethical practices for individual faculties by UGC guidelines from time to time. There is a computer lab, smart classrooms,gym etc.

The alumni network endeavours to impart, share and collaborate our collective experience among ourselves, the society and the future alumni. In the last few years, Alumni Association organized a talk on Women Empowerment along with the Women Development Cell of the college.The members of the Alumni Association made their contribution in nurturing cancer patients by distributing fruits and flowers during their visits to Brahamumbai Muncipal Corporation’s First Cancer Hospital - Nair Hospital. .

Admission is totally direct here. If you want to take admission then you need to have all the important documents such as marksheets, admit cards, adhar card etc. Marks of the last attended examination will be taken into consideration and minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 pass.

Talking about the teachers of our department, they are undundoubtedly good and they show a lot of cooperation from their side. Students need to cooperate too. They help us with each and every problem we face.
