Remarks
The college is one of the best in Kozhikode to do MBBS. I can say that since I have got admission here I rarely found anything wrong. The staff is good, labs are nice, and the ambience is nice. Overall my experience so far is quite good here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBBS course offered by our college is quiet holistic in nature. Due importance is given to clinical exposure along with the theoretical part in the curriculum. Exams are held annually. However practicals and short duration tests are held regularly.
Placement Experience
Placement rate of the college is nice. Our college has its own hospital so one can also get absorbed there. Internship is offered by the college's hospital however one can opt for the same outside. I applied outside and did Internship in a government college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a private college fee is on a higher side. Fee is to be paid annually. One can avail the loan facility and can simultaneously apply for scholarships to manage the financial thing. I applied for Kerala state government's scholarship and for the rest of the amount took educational loan from the bank.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loans can be availed from public or private bank. One can get the loan sanctioned by showing the admission letter to the bank. Scholarships offered by Kerala and central government can also be availed by the students.
Campus Life
Labs are of high quality and as per defined standards. Our college houses one of the biggest libraries in the city. For recreation and sports we have playground, basketball ball court, theater etc. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities by the teachers.
Admission
Admission in our college is based on entrance exam. I gave the NEET exam and got the college through 2nd round of counseling. Once I qualified the NEET exam I had this college in my shortlist. I scored 590 in NEET and sat for counseling where I was allotted a seat here.
Faculty
Faculty is quite experienced. It comprises of Doctors who have years of experience in their field. Some of the professors/Doctors have close to 30 years of experience in their domain. Most of them are quite helpful.
