Good UG college in Mangalore

I completed my B.Sc CS from Milagres College. I enjoyed my course duration very much, either it is academics or co-curricular. Teachers were also quite supportive and guided us in studies and seniors were also quite helpful.

The syllabus is drafted by Mangalore University as the college is affiliated to it. The course curriculum is quite good and covers all the most important of subjects and topics important for the course. The course is semester based and exams are held at the end of each semester. Surprise tests are also taken by class teachers as they find relevant.

Many companies like Travel Craft, Global Services, Career Point, Sound lines Consultancy and many more visited the campus for placements. Most of the students got placed at good companies. The college conducts good campus placements.

The college fee for my B.Sc CS was quite feasible and was bound to change every year. I found the fee to be quite feasible compared to other colleges. There are also multiple scholarships to be availed and meritorious students are provided with a concession on their fee also.

The college actively engages in hosting events, quizzes, workshops, seminars and guest lectures for students. The college library is also quite good and equipped with WiFi and a good range of books, newspapers and journals to study from. The college also has a good lab for students to practice.

The college provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys enrolled here from distant places. The boys' college is on the college campus while the girls' college is at a walking distance from the college. Both hostels have an occupancy of 50 students each and are quite good.

The college provides direct admission on a First come first serve basis. There is a limited number of seats for each course. I took admission here for B.Sc CS, the admission process was quite easy and time-saving. I submitted my respective documents with admission form and also submit a short amount of money for admission here.

The teachers taught us many things apart from academics, the teachers were more research and practical oriented and help us understand the topics by providing the best relevant examples of the topics being taught. Real-life examples helped us learn the hardest of the topics by resorting them with ease.
