Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy

This course is a 1 year certificate course and focuses on subjects like Introduction to Ayurveda Sanskrtit language Pharmaceutical biology, analysis, chemistry, engineering Pharmalogy Toxicology Rasasastra Sareera kriya Vijnanam etc

A student after successful completion of this course can take up a job in private or government clinic, medical shops for ayurveda, can teach in colleges or universities, become marketing specialist, quality control engineer, medical representative etc.

The college also has funded NSS unit. It has organises seminars, sharing case studies, presentations and workshops in subjects to render knowledge every month. Special and important days like world yoga day, international women’s day are also celebrated.

The fees structure is very reasonable and the student can check out the prospectus for detailed break up of the fees. It may include tuition fees in lump sum amount and another miscellaneous charges like admission fees, establishment fees, library fees which is paid at the time of admission.

The students are mostly girls in the college and have many facilities. The college has provides amenities like ATM, AV lab, wifi, conference hall and play ground where students practice outdoor games and special facilities like chess, table tennis and caroms for indoor games.

Hostel facilities are available which can accommodate upto 300 ladies and 60 boys, fees of which is Rs.1250 per month/ Rs.15000 for 1 year in addition to the hostel deposit of Rs.5000 which is to be paid in advance. Canteen facilities are also available for the staff and students

VAC is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, which makes it one of the most prestigious colleges for learning ayurveda. There are only 25 seats in this course and the admission process is simple and can be done on spot in college by presenting documents required or online after uploading documents. The faculties are in different departments like Department of Sanskrit, Samhitha and Siddantha, Dept of Rachana Sareeram, Dept of Kriya Sareeram, Dept of Dravyaguna Vijnanam, Dept of Rasasastra and Bhaishajyakalpana, Dept of Roganidan, Dept of Swasthavrita and many others which has a faculty base of multiple teachers who are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields.
