Multimedia and Vocational College In Bengaluru

I picked BVA in animation and multimedia out of the available courses as it offered something more to learn.

Since it's more of a vocational course the curriculum is heavily dependent on imparting practical skills. Theoretical knowledge is also well balanced as a part of the course. Exams are held in a semester-wise manner and practical exams are conducted from time to time. Theoretical exams are also held as a part of periodic unit tests.

The placement rate of our college is decent. One can apply for job opportunities outside as well. Many of our seniors got placed in good animation brands by searching for opportunities outside. The same is the case with Internships. One has to look for opportunities outside. College's placement cell helps students however mostly you are on your own.

The fee of the college is a bit hefty. The fee for first-year stands at around 1 lakh. For the subsequent years, the fee is more or less in the same bracket. In total one has to pay around 3 to 4 lakhs for the duration of the course. Educational loans can however be helpful in this regard.

Scholarships are offered by the college to meritorious students. Karnataka state government scholarships are also available for students to avail. The central government scholarship in face of the National Scholarship Portal also offers financial assistance for study. Educational loans are also offered by the banks.

Infrastructure wise the college is good. The labs and classroom are quite good. We get all the necessary facilities as required to effectively study a vocational course like animation. In terms of extra-curricular activities, the college organized sports events, cultural events, and annual fests. Sports facilities in the college are above average.

I had an interest in the domain of animation and multimedia so applied for this college. The college takes admission based on merit and defined selection criteria. Took the exam conducted by the college followed by document verification.

The faculty of our college is well and good. They have good professional exposure as well as theoretical knowledge of the domain. They push us to learn things by doing and not to go for mere studying of things. They help and guide us in regards to all the aspects of their subjects. One can take their help even after the class.
