Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is very good and is both practical and theory with research oriented. Our education to this course is as per UGC and is upto the mark. Our labs are well equipped with latest equipment. We have regular practical classes which are very useful and research oriented.

Placement Experience

There are many companies which recruits students from our college from various branch. Few of them are Wipro, Sutherland, global services, IBM, TCS, Transworks, wase, KGiSL, etc. Job opportunities for Bsc Zoology students is less. Internship opportunities are not provided by college but help us to find.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee in our college is feasible. The fee for aided students is less compared to unaided students. For unaided students fee is about 9500 plus 600 lab fee and 600 other fee. For aided it is about 1300-1600 rupees. Fee for all students is feasible. Hostel and other charges are extra as applicable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are provided in our college from various sources, central, state and UGC and also from bharatiyata university. I got single girl child scholarship, kamraj endowments - 3000 rupees, hindi scholarship for Non hindi students who learn Hindi, for defence personnels daughter's, for freedom fighters daughters. Loan facilities are not provided by our college but concession is given to poor candidate.

Campus Life

Lab facilities of zoology department is good and well equipped. There are many Extra curricular activities held from our department, lecture, seminar,etc. This is women college so ratio of women is only there. Sports facilities are there in our college and we participate in various competition.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel of our college is very good with good infrastructure. The have sharing basis, with twin and triple sharing. Establishment fee is about 4000 per year. Hostel has TV, internet, mess, sports and other facilities. Mess charges are about 1400 per month.

Admission

I got admission in this college based on my marks in 12th standard. I am studying Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Merit list is prepared based on our marks scored in 12th. This is good college in our place and it is women's college which is also suitable for me. Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry and biology in 12th standard for admission in this course.

Faculty

Our college faculty of our batch is good. They are well educated and are very good in teaching. They provide regular practical classes and they help us all. They solve our doubts and make us understand all concepts. They are much qualified to teach the course.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900.
