My college review

Exam structure is not very relaxed. We have practicals and main exams too and even weekly tests. So sometimes it become hectic. Sometimes we have both practicals and weekly tests on the same days so there it becomes difficult.

Placement is not a proper word for dental students. Dentistry is a field where we create our own opportunities, if u can work hard,and you have a fare amount of working brain,you can always win the race. The college provides internship with monthly stipend around 10,000. Internship is very helpful for the junior doctors for their entrance exam preparation. They have to do some clinicals in internship.

The college fee structure is on the higher side ie a very expensive, I feel. The fees are Rs 1,150,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 23,00,000 on a total for a period of two years which is not very economical or affordable.

At S.P.P.G.I.D.M.S., we believe that the playing field is not only a simple gaming area but also a sphere where many human and ethical values are fostered in young individuals. Audacity and confidence are developed in them through sports and they learn to evade the obstacle together & therefore, Annual Inter College Sports meet “AMISTAD” is the regular feature of S.P.P.G.I.D.M.S.

The college has both boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Rooms are pretty good and spacious. The hostel rent is affordable too. Mess foodis also good. Washrooms are clean and all basic amenities are provided.

The admission is done purely on the basis of your NEET score. A cutoff is declared after the NEET results are out. A merit list is taken out. Upto 3 merit lists are taken out on regular intervals of 2-3 days during the admission and counseling process.

The college has a highly dedicated faculty. There are many experienced professors Most of the faculty members of our college have got a Doctorate degree and have minimum 10 years of teaching experience and they are very cooperative.
