Course Curriculum Overview
P.T.R. College of Engineering and Technology is ISO 9001-2008 certified institute and offers Six Undergraduate courses in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, CIVIL, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering and Four PG courses in M.E Engineering design, M.E Computer Science and Engineering., M.E Mechanical and M.E Power Electronics and Drives. Exams are conducted as per the Anna University Exam Schedule.
College Events
Technical Symposium: Many events and paper presentations are done in this college from Technical Symposium. This is valuable to the students during their college life. Seminars/Workshops: Seminars and workshops are held in each department to give information about a specific topic in our college. Sports events and Music competitions are conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When compared to other Engineering colleges, the fee structure is feasible. For 4 years, the college fee is Rs.2,00,000. For a Non-Accredited course, the college fee is Rs.50,000(Per year) and for the Accredited course, the college fee is Rs.55,000(Per year).

Admission
Admission to all UG courses(i.e.). Bachelor of Engineering(B.E.) is helped out through the single window arrangement of the Anna University. Students can pick the course dependent on the state-wise rank determined by their marks in Higher Secondary Exam directed by the Department of Examination, Government of TamilNadu. Reservations are accommodated for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST and so on according to the guidelines of the Government of TamilNadu. Reservations are likewise accommodated for physically impeded/Ex-servicemen/Sportspeople/Other state applicants.
Faculty
Faculty members are good and enough for the students in this college. Some faculty members are only had a Ph.D. degree but all the faculty members are experienced staff to teach the students and also the Faculty members are the student-friendly staff.
