Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was pretty strong and an amalgamation of theoretical models and practical learning. We learned about the different aspects of the corporate world like operational, financial, managerial, etc. Summer Internship after two-semester and project report submission during the last semester was also a part of our curriculum.
Placement Experience
We had a dedicated placement cell which was responsible for bridging the gap between the students and recruiters. Companies visit our campus during the placement drive and recruit students for different roles. The roles that students from our department were selected for was: consulting, managing, financial management, data analysis, etc. The highest package received by the student from our batch was 12 LPA.
College Events
Many sports activities and festive celebrations take place in our college. Freshers' party and farewell party was my personal favorite during my stay at the Lloyd college. Festive celebrations and other events like Gandhi Jayanti, Ambedkar Jayanti, Independence day are also celebrated with utmost joy, where students take part in different cultural activities like dance performance, skit, rangoli competition, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty feasible, especially for a professional course like MBA. Our annual fee was around 1.25 Lacs and for two year MBA program we paid around 2,50,000 INR. Even for day to day expenses, our college is pretty budget-friendly.
Hostel Facilities
The accommodation facility is provided at pretty affordable prices to the students. Students have to apply for the Hostel and they are shortlisted on the basis of merit. Hostel rooms are pretty spacious and the hygiene is the top priority here.
Admission
Admissions are granted on the basis of the merit list. You have to apply to the college with all of your academic details and entrance exam scores. My name was there in the second merit list, as the total intake for the MBA program was 60. After document verification, I paid fees and was enrolled for the program.
Faculty
All of our faculty members were good and I am pretty pleased with the level of teaching I received. The method of teaching was also good. We learned a lot from their creative teaching methodology like usage of ppt, case studies, etc. The case studies were especially quite productive in understanding about some of the scenarios which could shape a company's path.
