RIT - Better place to learn engineering

Good management. They effectively manage things in college.

The college is affiliated to Anna University and the exam structure follows as guided by the university. Totally 8 semester examinations. The college provides you more opportunities to learn new things, to invent something innovative, takes you to industrial visits and especially placement training camps which ensures that your analytical and logical skills are improved.

The placement records is much better for my batch. Of the eligible students, almost 80-90 are placed any one company and some with dual offers. Several got internship in semester 8 itself.

The technical symposiums of each department every year and workshops on latest technologies are conducted every year and these were well organized and the organisers made sure that healthy competition existed. The participants gained knowledge from the guests.

2.08 Lakhs INR is for the Tution fees including the placement training sessions. 28000 INR was charged for the transport thourough bus. 60000 INR was charged for hostel. All these prices mentioned were for the 2012-16 batch. The fees would have increased for the current batches.

Yes. I've availed educational loan from state bank of India. They've sanctioned me the tuition fees alone. Apart from this I was supposed to pay my transport fees.

Except the mechanical engineering, all departments have mostly 50:50 gender ratio and the Campus is much clean and to be honest this is smaller one than several other colleges. They do have good cafes inside the campus. One can enjoy being here but couldn't run away to skip the special classes.

Yes ofcourse. The college keeps all alumni active and keeps them engaging via social media and also conducts alumni meets often. Apart from this, we can contact Alumni people and get some career guidance anytime.

Based on my class 12 marks, I got a cut off of 184.5 and with this cut off I had option to choose between Top 15 colleges. I decided to take electronics and communication engineering and saw that I've place in RAJALAKSHMI and another institution. I chose RAJALAKSHMI as they provide quality education but at the same time won't impose restrictions on students. So in order to complete engineering peacefully, I chose this college.

When I studied, the faculty over there included minimum of 2-3 professors and others were young associate professors who have completed Master of Engineering and some were pursuing their PhD. The staffs were much friendly and also had much expertise in the industry knowledge.
