Entrance Preview

I didnt take any exams. But purely on merit I got the seat.Its good college and method is very transparent.

Internships Opportunities

No stipend as such. But they ahd given me a opportunity to do that. Many students get this in research labs .Many have utilized this.trends and updates are typically taught here.

Wipro, siemens, infosys and many companies come here. They get good placements here. I to got such oppurtunity.Training for all given.

College Events

Events are regular here. Cultural and sports are dine, annual fest also done. With collaboration of all students. LIVELY ATMOSPHERE . Superb experience for all students during these days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very nominal 5000Rs it was.even merit students get free seats. Along with that some students get mid day meal from canteen free. Examination teaching and lab ffeees weere extra. Totally it was 10000Rs per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholatships are many. Even private people fund here. Donations to merit student is levied off. Many individual sponsorship for students they give.

Superb alumini network.VMany are well settled and got good name and fame .Many artists/sports persons are from our college.proud to be from MGM.VWe have a quality individual once he come ou t of MGM.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted as per universty semister wise. Very competitive environment strict evaluation .Many people get university ranks .teachers lso prepare us for the exams byconducting special classes.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
