Entrance Preview

I have not written any entrance exam to join this college. The admission was based on merit and the admission was based on first cum first serve basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was as per Bangalore University syllabus which was divided into six semesters equally divided over three years. The college doesn't have a course which is approved by its council (at least no till I passed out).

Internships Opportunities

This college doesn't offer internship programme to its students (at least till the time I was there) But had a pretty good track record in campus placement.

Placement Experience

I didn't opt of campus placement as I wanted to pursue higher studies. But, the placement programme was pretty decent. Some of my classmates were mostly placed in major and renowned IT companies.

College Events

The college celebrates almost all festivals grandly, except for diwali and holi which might cause body harm to its pupil. Other events include annual college fest, alumni meet once a year and guest lecture by renowned personalities in their respective fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very decent and I didn't opt for scholarship or any education loan. The college is in approved list of many bankers so opting for education loan should not be a problem.

Alumni/Alumna

The college as strong alumni base, and many students who have passed out from this institution as doing wonders in their respective fields. This college conducts annual get together of its past students to give their valuable experience to current students studying there.

Faculty

The faculty were pretty fair. Teaching was time bound. Very supportive. Most of them took extra classes to complete the syllabus and give extra support to weak students.

From Classes to Campus Life: Why I Chose ISME

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. Good college with good experience

Placement Experience:

we had placements coming from fifth semester, so as Accenture, EYTCS, Morgan Stanley, et cetera, the highest package was for five lakhs and the lowest was 2,50,065% of the students are getting placements after getting degree. I am planning for employment.

The application process was fine . there was no entrance exam...., fees process was also good .
