College Review

College Management is very helpful. They take care of the needs of the students. They listen to students problems and take immediate actions to solve them. To conclude I can say that it is one of the good colleges to take education from and to enjoy college life.

Course Curriculum is decided by Panjab University. The entire course was divided in 6 semesters. There were different subjects in all the 6 semesters. Major subjects include Accounts, Management, Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Cost Management, Taxation, Law etc. I learned alot about corporates during this course. The course is well designed to provide industry specific knowledge. No industrial visit was conducted.

For B.com course no campus placement is provided by the college. There is no criteria in Panjab University to organise campus placement for B.com Graduate students.

Events celebrated in the college include Sports Day, Farewell party, freshers party, college fest, Rangoli competition etc. Sports day is organised evey year in a wonderful way. Every student got equal chance to participate in it. Each student wait eagerly for sports day to come. It is organised on a large scale.This event lasts for about 2 days. There are various food stalls also organised by the students. All other events are also organised at a large scale.Any student can participate in any of the events as per their choice and interest.

The fees charged by college for B.com course is quite feasible in comparison to other private colleges in Ludhiana. Also the college did not charged any additional fees apart from course Curriculum to secure an admission to the college. Complete transparency was provided in the fees breakdown. Fees is accepted thourough cash and cheque.

Yes the college offers various scholarship opportunities on various basis eg. on merit basis, financial weakness, talent, SC, BC etc. as per its policies. Notice is displayed on the college board along with the details of contact person.

As it was basically boys college so number of boys is too high as compared to girls. Night Freshers and Farewell Party is organised every year in the college campus itself. There is no discrimination in the college on the basis of Gender, race, religion, politics etc.

College seniors are very helpful. I am still in touch with many college seniors even after 4 years. We had many whatsapp groups with seniors, classmates etc. So in this way all keep in touch. Experiences of seniors taught us alot and we can take lessons from them and it helps us to not to repeat the same mistakes again.

I took Commerce in 11th class so for graduation I decided to go for B.com as I also want to do CA along with my graduation. I choose Arya college because it offers special batch for CA students who want to pursue regular B.com and not go for correspondence. So I filled up form of Arya College. After sone days from form submission merit list was displayed in the college premises which mentioned the names of candidates selected for admissions. Cut off was very high for CA Batch. On the same day of merit list they verify all the documents and fees was also deposited on the same day.

There were separate lecturer for separate courses. Most of the lecturers were young. For main subjects like Taxation, Law there were experienced lecturers who are well equipped with industry knowledge and practical experiences. Teaching style of lecturers is quite impressing. They provide complete clarity about the subject as all teachers were expert in their field. Yes,most of the lecturers hold relevant industry experience or certifications.
