The real experience of Arya college Ludhiana

My course had all the computer science subject which helped me switch from commerce background to computer application background which helped me to become what I wanted to. The curriculum very well prepares the student for the real world challenge but a little more practicals and projects would help them even more The frequency and timing of exams were good along with there perfect difficulty level

The year wise course fees was arnd 50000 which makes a semester fees arnd 25000 The tution fees was only 25000 no other fees was taken from us Scholarships of around 5000 was given to bpl category whereas there was a scholarship for only girl child as well

There were many fest and technicals fests that took place in my college for eg farewell of last semester students. The books and journal were lways accessible to all the students infact it was compulsory for the students to go in the library and read books and journals There were availability of projectors in the class but it was barely used by the teachers. There was no sports even the only badminton court in the college was converted to auditorium no football ground and the college didnt even participate in inter college and inter university in any of the sports No student run social group clubs or students portal came into my eyes when I was there

There was only one college in my city for BCA course no other college had BCA at that point of time so I didnt have many choices in my mind while choosing this college moreover this college was affliated to panjab university which was the only one reason that I took admission in this college

The faculty to student ratio was good at my time of study... students could easily approach the teacher whenever they wanted to The best faculties were of commerce department as they were given all the facilities and teacher provided them with special facilites like Air conditioner during summers etc Exams were of medium level difficulty and teacher helped each and every student to prepare for the exams whereas teachers became cautious about the approaching exam and gave extra classes to the students. Most of the students had the potential to clear the exams along with the ability to understand the relevant material of the course curriculum

There was a gym in my college along with the cafeteria and library which are amazing places for college students There were no hostel and campus in timings Locality is safe to roam at night there were many places to hangout in and out college
