Remarks

Overall good Academics wise but not so good campus. There only a few sports facilities available. The city is good and affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mbbs is a 4and half year course followed by 1 year of compulsory internship. There is semester wise internal exam followed by external university exam alkost every 1 year (2 year is 1 and half year rest all 1 y, total 4 years).clinicsl postings start from 2 year to give clinical exposure. In 3 year in psm subject various household surveys and visits to various near by villages and phc, chc takes place. 1 year internship is after passing final exams where interns are posted in various departments to work for variable duration.

Placement Experience

3.5

Since its a professional college provifing degrees like mbbs /ms/md there are no campus placements. Internship is of 1 year duration in various departments. After doing mbbs one can easily get jobs in private hospitals as well as government hospitals. Pass percentage is almost 90-95% every year in final exams .

College Events

3.5

Every year annual college festival is held around april where various sports, cultural, educational events are held. In between various seminars, intercollege quiz, presentations are being held regularly. The events mostly comprises of college students but in intercollege events other students also participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since its a government college fees is very affordable. There is absolute transparency in fee breakdown. During my time fees was 1600 Rs approximately per semester ( some extra fees while taking admission). But now the fees is revised its approximately 20000 rs per semester. Fees can be paid in cash or by cheque/DD. ( fees is less for girls and sc/st candidates).

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i didnot avail any scholarship. Yes for girls and sc/st candidates there is less fee and scholarship is also available.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus is average as this is a college attached with hospital.Only volleyball courts and tt tables are available. Gender ratio is slmost 1:1 as there is 50%reservation for girls. There is lot of student diversity as there are students from various parts including north east india. There is no gender racial or ethinic discrimination in the college. Various cultural events are held thouroughout the year by the student committee which has 4 people including president elected by students every year by vote. There are aldo good libraries and reading room for students.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, i didnot opt for hostel as they are not in very good condition. Rooms are available as sharing in beginning but later single rooms can also be availed. Yes the hostels are affordable but not worth it. PG's as well as rooms for rent are easily available nearbuy which are affordable in range of 2000 to 3000. Also food is also affordable and easily available in various mess near college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are very helpful. you depend on your seniors entirely ranging from notes, help during exams, clincal knowledge. They guide you on how to approach your mbbs and after that postgraduation. How to go about preparing for postgraduation. Recently 50 year anniversary of college was held where alumni were invited.

Admission

I gave NEET exam followed by counselling to get into this college. I always wanted to be a doctor so i choose mbbs. I choose thid institute as it offers great academics and co curricular activities. Also it is near the major city of jaipur. Affordable accommodations.

Faculty

4

There are numerous faculties for each subject. They may range from 12-14senior professor and 20 assistant professor and senior resident +residents+junior residents/senior demonstrator in bigger subjects to 3-4 professor and 3-4 assistant professor in short subjects. There are about 25-30 departments. Average age of senior professor is around 50 eith qualifications like mbbs, ms/md,mch/DM and fellowships. Average age of assistant professor is35 with qualifications like MBBS, MD/MS. THE lectures are very conceptual snd clinically orientated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the MBBS course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology in great detail. The curriculum also addresses a variety of specialties, providing a broad understanding of different areas of medicine. Overall, the course prepares students for the challenges of modern medical practices. The exams are conducted on the yearly basis which are conducted by university. Although internal exams are also conducted by the college which also helps in testing are knowledge and level of preparation.
