Reputed college , good teaching, teaches good discipline. No entrance exams. Based on higher secondary marks seats are alloted.

Mini project in Microbiology.When I studied there was no internship. Right now there may be internships with companies around .

Remarkable When I studied there was no placements.Right now there may be placements. I am not very sure of placement aspect since I am not in touch with administrative people. I hear that few companies like HCL came in the recent years. Yet I am not sure of the placement aspects.

No,I did not avail loans/ scholarships.To be considered for a scholarship, we must receive the following your completed Summer Program Application including transcript , letters of recommendation, and required application fee.

Campus Life

Excellent campus life. It is a Women's college. Provides lot of opportunities for external college competitions. Over one hundred and twenty years ago where women could receive the same liberal arts education available to men.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures.
